EL chalten
El Chaltén is a picturesque village in Patagonia, located within Los Glaciares National Park, approximately 220 kilometers from El Calafate Airport. It can be reached by road in about 3 hours. The village offers a wide variety of accommodation options, as well as restaurants serving local cuisine. Laguna de Los Tres desde Río Eléctrico
The trek begins at the Eléctrico River, following a trail through forests, passing by viewpoints with spectacular views of the valley and the Piedras Blancas Glacier. The final stretch, somewhat demanding, takes us to Laguna de los Tres, where Fitz Roy is reflected in its waters—an incredible experience.
After enjoying the lagoon, the return is along the same trail back to the Poincenot camp. From there, you continue to Laguna Capri, where you can rest and enjoy the viewpoints. Then, the trail takes you back to El Chaltén, closing a full day.
